Using the Live Plotter Test Tools --------------------------------- 1. Copy devices.json to %programdata%\EZL Note: %programdata% typically resolves to C:\ProgramData 2. Copy live.etm and on_air.gif to %programdata%\EZL\templates If the templates directory does not already exist, create the directory first 3. Copy livetest.ezs to your EZScript path To set your EZScript, open ezl and click "Default Settings" in the System toolset. Your EZScript path is the 2nd option from the top. Set your scripts directory then click "Apply & Save" -- you may have to restart ezl for changes in this field to take affect. 4. Download the EZL Test Server: http://www.ezlsoftware.com/archive/x64/ezlserver.exe The test server is a small tool that outputs random data for testing live plots. You can connect to the server manually using IP 127.0.0.1 (loopback address) on port 4242. The script "livetest.ezs" will connect to it for you. 5. Run ezlserver.exe 6. Open ezl and type "livetest" (without the quotes) into the Command Window. You should see 4 stacked live plotters with a Custom Title at the top. The custom title should show an image reading "ON AIR". All 4 plots should be streaming live data. Resize ezl as needed. * If you have any trouble, please contact Blair Fonville info@ezlsoftware.com Thanks for testing ezl!
